9 Clues: The Secret of Serpent Creek (Full) is set in Serpent Creek, a small town where weird things happen. As the player, you take control of a detective who receives a strange phonecall from a reporter named Helen Hunter. The detective arrives at the town only to find that Helen appears to have gone missing. All around are strange phenomena, from snakes crawling the streets to inexplicable tremors in the ground. The plot, which owes something to the classic horror stories of H. P. Lovecraft, turns out to focus on an evil scheme to revive an ancient Snake God who will plunge the world into untold chaos.
